Model Course #1
Day 1
Transfer from Kushiro Airport to Kawayu
Along the way, make a stop at the Tsurui-Ito Tancho Sanctuary to observe and learn about Japanese cranes.
Check-in to hotel
Day 2
AM: Wildlife viewing around Lake Kussharo
PM: Bird watching in Kiyosato Town (White-tailed Eagle, Steller’s Sea Eagle, etc.)
Chances to see deer, foxes, and other wildlife throughout the day.
Day 3
AM: Canoe ride on Lake Kussharo and Kushiro River (deer, fox, eagle, mink, etc.)
PM: Snow shoes animal tracking around Lake Mashu (deer, fox, etc.)
Day 4
Return to Kushiro Airport or continue on to next destination in Hokkaido.
